EMERGENCY DENTAL

Tooth pain? Trauma? Infection? We at Riverfront Dental are equipped to handle all forms of dental emergencies and pride ourselves on seeing patients in pain the same day. Whether it be a fall from an accident or a painful tooth, we will make sure to see you the same day to assess the issue and provide treatment as needed. Our clinic is fully equipped and our staff members are trained to handle a variety of dental emergencies.

Many visits to the emergency room for dental-related issues can be very time consuming for both the patient and hospital. Most dental-related problems require the patient to see the dentist afterward regardless – please make us your first call instead. If the emergency warrants a trip to the hospital or a dental specialist we will be sure to make those arrangements for you.

We are open evenings and weekends and do our best to answer our email outside of office hours.  Examples of dental emergencies that would warrant an immediate visit to our clinic:

• Dental trauma to the mouth or teeth (place dislodged teeth in milk)
• Dental infection / abscess (swelling) in the mouth or of the surrounding area
• Severe toothache
• Broken tooth
• Wisdom tooth pain
• Jaw fracture
• Persistent bleeding of gums around trauma
• Object stuck between teeth that cannot be dislodged with floss
